Liberal Arts Programme aims to offer a solid and well-rounded area of study. Communicative English, Computer Science, Business Administration, and Karen Language programmes.

• Open up opportunities for young Karen people to fulfill their intellectual and vocational needs,


• motivate them to have enthusiasm for personal achievement and self development, and


• enable them to strive for the growth of the church and the development of Karen people.

Dr.Magnolia has been appointed as the Director of Liberal Arts Programme commencing the second semester of the academic year, 2010-2011. In 1993, she obtained B.Sc.(Chemistry).After graduating from university, she did the Master of Divinity programme at MIT and earned the Master's degree in 1996. From 1996 to 2000, Dr.Magnolia worked for Karen Baptist Convention as a staff of AD 2000 Mission Project. Then, from 2001 to 2003, she served as the Assistant Director of Care and Counselling Department, K.B.C and she was promoted to Director in 2003. In 2011, she completed her D.Min studies, and now, we are blessed to have her as the Director of Liberal Arts Programme in K.B.T.S.
